The recent "defeat" of the Marxist New Labour government over the highly controversial Racial and Religious Hatred Bill is no cause for White Nationalist celebration. Although this is a sound smack in the face for Blair and is his third Commons defeat since coming to power, the stark fact of the matter is that the Bill is still going forward for Royal Assent and that it will, at some time in the future, become the law of the land. We automatically assume that it will receive the Royal Assent as currently Her Majesty, if so instructed by the Marxists, would most surely happily sell off Buckingham Palace as an asylum seekers' centre. This disgusting piece of legislation has been stripped of the parts covering insults and abuse. Also removed is the section wherein even unintentional criticism, abuse and insults of religion would have resulted in an offence being committed. ![]() However, as the Bill now stands, a new offence has been created, that of 'inciting religious hatred by using threatening words and behaviour'. Significantly, Home Office Minister Paul Goggins insisted that only those intending to 'stir up religious hatred' would be caught under the Government's plans. The dropping of the most evil parts of the Bill comes after intensive lobbying by Christians, Faith groups, Free Speech groups and White Nationalists. The BPP has itself run a rolling campaign in its publications and on this website, as well as on various Forums, against this final blow to Free Speech. Earlier yesterday, about 200 demonstrators gathered outside Westminster's Palace of Treason singing hymns and holding placards with Defend Free Speech messages. Campaigners, including comedian Rowan Atkinson, said that the proposed legislation attacked the principle of freedom of expression. The BPP heartily agrees with Mr Atkinson on this. Had the Bill gone through in its original form, a lunatic Repression would have descended upon our nation with consequences both farcical and horrible. However, remember that this evil Bill will still become Law; we feel there is, still, contained within it a catch-all clause aimed specifically at White Nationalists for the sole purpose of Marxist New Labour currying Britain's huge Muslim vote at the expense of the freedom of British Patriots. We are currently e-mailing a prominent Nationalist barrister seeking his opinion on the ramifications of the Bill and will bring you further up-dates.
